How the PSL Points System Works

- The top four teams after the league stage qualify for the playoffs.
- 1st vs 2nd play the Qualifier – the winner goes straight to the final.
- 3rd vs 4th play Eliminator 1 – the loser is knocked out.
- The loser of the Qualifier meets the winner of Eliminator 1 in Eliminator 2 for the second final spot.
- If teams finish level on points, net run rate decides the order.
What Is Net Run Rate (NRR)?
Net run rate = (total runs scored ÷ total overs faced) − (total runs conceded ÷ total overs bowled). If a team is bowled out, the full 20 overs are counted as overs faced. A positive NRR means a team scores faster than it concedes.
