Quick answer: PSL 2027 tickets are not on sale yet. The PCB has said that ticketing details for HBL PSL 12 will be announced later, along with the fixtures and venues. Going by last season, tickets are likely to go on sale online at pcb.tcs.com.pk about one to two weeks before the opening match on 18 March 2027, with physical tickets at TCS Express Centres a few days later.

When Will PSL 2027 Tickets Go on Sale?

No date has been announced. PSL ticket sales usually open shortly before the season, once the fixture list is out:

• PSL 2026 (PSL 11): online sales opened on Tuesday, 17 March 2026 – nine days before the opening match on 26 March – and physical tickets followed at TCS Express Centres from 24 March.
• PSL 2024 (PSL 9): online booking opened on 6 February 2024, with physical sales at TCS centres from 12 February.

Based on that pattern, our estimate is that PSL 2027 tickets will go on sale in early March 2027. Tickets for the playoffs and the final are normally released separately, closer to those matches. We will update this page the moment the PCB confirms the dates.

How to Buy PSL 2027 Tickets Online

The PCB sells tickets through its official partner TCS. The steps below are how booking worked in PSL 2026; PSL 12 is expected to follow the same process.

1. Open the official portal – pcb.tcs.com.pk. Check the address carefully; do not use links shared on WhatsApp or social media.
2. Pick your match by date, teams or city.
3. Choose an enclosure – General, First Class, Premium, VIP or VVIP – and the number of tickets.
4. Enter your CNIC and contact details. Tickets are linked to the buyer’s CNIC; in 2026 each CNIC could be used for up to eight tickets.
5. Pay online using one of the payment options shown on the portal.
6. Get your ticket. In past seasons, physical tickets were required for entry and online bookings were collected from TCS centres or delivered by TCS. PSL 2026 also offered limited e-ticketing at some venues – check the rules for your match when you book.

How to Buy PSL Tickets Offline

If you prefer to pay in person, physical tickets are sold at designated TCS Express Centres in the host cities. They usually go on sale a few days after online booking opens. For the PSL 2026 final, for example, tickets were sold at 18 designated TCS centres in Lahore. Carry your original CNIC when buying.

PSL Ticket Prices: What Fans Paid in 2026

PSL 2027 prices have not been released, but last season’s rates are the best guide. For PSL 11, the cheapest General enclosure tickets were:

Prices then rose with the enclosure and the size of the match. A few examples from the PSL 2026 league stage:

Note: tickets were priced for six cities, but in the end all PSL 2026 matches were played in Lahore and Karachi.

PSL 2026 Final Ticket Prices

Expected PSL 2027 Ticket Prices

The PCB has kept PSL tickets affordable in recent seasons, so a big jump is unlikely. If PSL 12 follows the 2026 pattern, expect roughly:

• League matches: General from about Rs 250–600; VIP around Rs 800–2,500.
• Playoffs: higher than league games, especially in Lahore.
• Final (Lahore, 2 May 2027): General from about Rs 1,500, with premium seats up to Rs 10,000–12,000.

These are estimates based on 2026 prices, not official figures.

Which Cities Will Host PSL 2027?

The PCB says PSL 12 will be played at five to six venues, with the final at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. The exact cities and match allocations will come with the fixture list. Reports say Islamabad, Lahore and Peshawar will not host PSL matches from 4–11 April 2027 because of the South Asian Games. See our PSL 12 venues guide and the PSL 2027 schedule.

Tips for Buying PSL Tickets

• Book early for Lahore and Karachi rivalry games, playoffs and the final – they sell out fast.
• Buy only from official channels. Avoid resellers on Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp; fake and duplicate tickets are common.
• Carry your original CNIC (or B-Form for children, where allowed) to the stadium.
• Reach the stadium early. Security checks take time, and gates can close well before the first ball.

Quick answer: The HBL PSL 12 player auction will be held on Saturday, 23 January 2027. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed the date on 23 October 2026, when it also opened the direct signing window for all eight franchises. Teams have until Monday, 23 November 2026 to complete their direct signings, and PSL 2027 itself runs from 18 March to 2 May 2027.

The announcement kicks off the squad-building season for PSL 2027. Over the next three months, franchises will make their direct signings, confirm retentions, trade players and then head into the second-ever PSL auction. Here is everything we know so far about the PSL 12 roadmap.

PSL 12 Roadmap: All Key Dates

PSL 12 Direct Signings: The New Marquee Player Rule

The direct signing window opened on Friday, 23 October 2026 and closes on Monday, 23 November 2026. During this month, each of the eight franchises can sign one marquee player outright, without going through the auction.

There is one condition: the player must not have played in either PSL 10 (2025) or PSL 11 (2026). That is stricter than last year, when teams could directly sign one overseas player who simply had not featured in the previous season. By looking back two seasons instead of one, the PCB is pushing franchises to bring genuinely fresh names into the league rather than re-signing familiar faces outside the auction.

Expect the eight teams to chase big overseas stars who have been busy in other leagues over the last two years. Any signings should be announced before the 23 November deadline – we will add them to the PSL 2027 squads page as soon as they are confirmed.

PSL 12 Retention Rules and Deadline

• Up to seven retentions: each franchise can keep a maximum of seven players for PSL 12.
• Two-year contracts: players bought or retained at the PSL 11 auction signed deals covering both PSL 11 and PSL 12, so most squads are already largely in place.
• Retention deadline: not yet officially announced. According to an Express Tribune report on the 22 October Governing Council meeting, the PCB has proposed 13 January 2027 – ten days before the auction. One owner reportedly asked for retentions to be brought forward to December.
• Pre-auction trade window: dates will be finalised at the franchise workshop.

PSL 12 Salary Purse and Player Categories

The same report says each franchise has a base player purse of US$1.6 million, which can rise to US$1.8 million to make room for an eligible overseas signing. Player salaries are split into four tiers: up to US$150,000, US$80,000, US$40,000 and US$21,500. The PCB also reportedly rejected a franchise owner’s proposal to cut the salaries of Pakistani players.

For comparison, at the PSL 11 auction each team had a purse of Rs 45 crore, extendable to Rs 50.5 crore for one direct overseas signing. See the full recap on our PSL 2027 auction and retentions page.

Where Will the PSL 12 Auction Be Held?

The PCB has not announced the venue or start time yet. The first PSL auction was held in Lahore on 11 February 2026. Reports say one franchise owner suggested staging the PSL 12 auction in China, but no decision has been made. We will update this article as soon as the venue is confirmed.

PSL 12 Venues: More Cities, Final in Lahore

PSL 12 will feature 44 matches over 46 days – 40 league games and four playoffs – spread across five to six venues, the widest spread the PCB has planned for the league. The final will be played at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore on 2 May 2027.

Scheduling has one extra challenge: the South Asian Games are set for 4–11 April 2027 in Islamabad, Lahore and Peshawar, and reports say PSL matches will avoid those three cities during that week. The full fixture list is still to come – follow the PSL 2027 schedule and PSL 12 venues pages for updates.

Domestic T20 Events Will Feed the Auction

The PCB has lined up its domestic calendar with the PSL pre-season. The National T20 Gold and National T20 Silver tournaments will be the main talent-spotting events before the auction, giving strong domestic performers a route into franchise cricket and, possibly, the national team. The board has also shared details of promising school cricketers with the franchises and encouraged them to invest in young talent.

What to Watch Before the PSL 12 Auction

• Which marquee players the eight teams sign before 23 November 2026.
• Official retention deadline and trade window dates after the franchise workshop.
• Auction venue, player registration and the final auction pool.
• Fixtures, venues and PSL 2027 ticket details, which the PCB says will follow later.
